User Interface

Consumer tablets and smart phones have changed the way people use computers on the job, but aren’t cut out for the unique demands of field service and industrial applications. The M9010 was designed with enterprise users in mind.

Enterprise-Friendly Touchscreen

The M9010’s 7-inch resistive touchscreen can be operated with a bare or gloved finger, included stylus, or other improvised tool. Compare this with consumer tablets direct contact with a user’s finger for operation and do not function with gloves.

Choice of Familiar User Experiences

The M9010 comes equipped with Window® Embedded Standard 7 or Windows® CE 6.0. Users who prefer a more tablet-friendly user experience—similar to their smart phones and other consumer mobile devices—can choose to operate the system using the included Thinix interface.

Thinix is graphical user interface that transforms the Windows experience into one ideal for touchscreen navigation. Finger-based browsing, scrolling and zooming, as well as larger touch-friendly icons are included.

Users can switch between the standard Windows and Thinix views at will.
