The DAP Technologies CE3240BW handheld computer is a fully rugged, FIPS-201 certified hardware solution. Built to support mission-critical access control, law enforcement and ID management applications, it can be configured to read all relevant credential formats including CAC, FRAC and TWIC cards, driver's licenses, passports and major corporate ID standards. Its 508 dpi fingerprint reader provides biometric authentication.

The computer is based on DAP's proven platform, developed over the last 29 years to perform reliably in the most extreme temperature ranges and harshest environments. The outdoor-readable display, IP-65 rating and ergonomic keyboard ensure reliability and end-user satisfaction.

DAP's modular architecture enables our partners to configure the CE3240BW platform to meet exact requirements needed, while allowing upgrades when new technology becomes available. Endcap options are numerous, including a smart card reader, 1D/2D barcode and OCR imager, magnetic stripe reader, fingerprint reader and others. GPS, Wi-Fi and WWAN connectivity are available for connected solutions.
